As we make chili from scratch this evening I am dreaming of owning the Le Creuset Caribbean Blue Stock Pot. This enamel on steel pot is ideal for soups, chilis and jambalayas. It holds 6 quarts and believe it or not is under $40!

Seems like a really great deal for a high quality kitchen tool if you are interested in high volume soups.

Looking forward to checking out the Cooks Illustrated Best 30 Minute Recipes!

I have had a ton of luck with using other Cooks Illustrated books so I have high hopes for this one. As I think about 2011 I know it will be a busier year for our family, not as much time for the slow cooked meals we enjoyed this year, 30 minute recipes should be just our speed.
